These configurations have a centralized unit that is stored in a cabinet or closet, which manages all aspects of the entire system. Incoming phone lines from your provider are connected and then your internal phone wiring in your facility is wired carefully into this system to create an in-house network. The PBX Unit also manages voice mail and other features for each handset like caller ID and more. These systems also allow the use of analog or digital handsets as well.
